Go to Minecraft Forge to download the mod loader that is matches the Minecraft version you want to mod. We suggest you choose the installer-win (Or installer if you are using other OS) because it is more user-friendly.
Part 2 : Install Mod Loader NOTE: Make sure you have the correct Minecraft version installed on your computer prior to installing Mod Loader.
1. Open the installer to start installing. Click on the Install Client button, then click OK.
2. The installer will start the process of patching versions and downloading any libraries required from the internet.
NOTE: Cracked launchers can cause the installation process to fail. This guide will help you solve the issue.
3. When you launch the Minecraft launcher, you'll find that a profile called Forge is added to your profile list. You can delete the profile, and create your own profile and choose the Forge version manually.
Optional: You can remove your Forge profile and change the version name to whatever you prefer. However, this requires some additional skills that I won't discuss here.
Part 3: Install Mod 1. Open the .minecraft folder in your AppData and check whether there is a folder called mods. If you don't find it, make one.
2. Google up some mods! I'm currently using the Minimap mod. Make sure that you download the appropriate version of the mod, or else it won't work!
NOTE: Before installing any mod, ensure you read the description requirements, the description, and even the help!
3. Copy/Copy the mod (usually in.jar) and paste it into the mods folder within. minecraft .
Part 4: Loading Mod into game Start the Forge Minecraft version. The screen will show. If it's installed correctly, you should end up with the amount of mods installed and 3 displayed at the bottom left of the screen.
NOTE 1: You might find that multiple mods are not compatible if try to install them all at the same time. Always check their mod page for any incompatible mod list. NOTE 2: Install the mods in order to determine which will cause the game to crash. This will make it easier to fix mod issues.
